Minister of Hajj Saudi: the introduction of a new Umrah visa
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Mohammed Benten, denied the impact of new Hajj and Umrah visa fees on Muslims in the world, stressing that the Kingdom's government bears the cost of the first time.Umrah Package December 2017 giving the best packages around the globe.
He revealed the ministry's direction to offer various
solutions at reasonable prices, including the introduction of a visa for those
who do not stay more than 5 days’ worth 500 riyals, according to Saudi newspapers.
During the closing ceremony of the festival, the minister
stressed the necessity of cementing the hospitality industry for the
delegations of the future projects such as the international village project
and others. He called on the sons of Mecca to fight brokering and reject commissions
that affect the industry.
The new fees, which will be applied at the beginning of the
current Umrah season, stipulate that the visa fees for the Kingdom will be one
time, two thousand Saudi riyals (about 535 dollars).
By raising the price of visas, the kingdom is counting on
increasing its budget revenues, which have fallen sharply due to falling oil
prices, the country's main supplier.
